I love this lamp from Flos, Gatto Piccolo. Its something about the round shape. Found this nice pictures from the norvegian blog,eget rom, writen by the former editor of Elle Decoration Helle Tjaberg. Its from the wonderful hotel Ett Hem in Stockholm.

Milano-Lee Broom

HF - Program Amsterdam

Before christmas we had the second module of the Home Furnishing program. We went to Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Delft. I want to tell you about a store that i liked in Amsterdam, De Weldaad. A lot of the dutch interior shops is really good with the industrial look. And what about the beautiful dutch houses,wonderful!!

HF program - Dalarna

After Stockholm it was time to drive up north, to Dalarna. Our first stop was Carl Larssons house Sundborn. He is a famous painter. I clarly remember Carl Larssons drawings of his home in a book I had when I was a little girl. It was so nice to see it live. Every room was so bright and light. Here we were not aloud to take pictures unfortantly, so the picture that i show is from the webside. 


We also had a guided tour at Andres Zorn place, Zorngården. He is also a famous painter and a friend of Carl Larsson. His house is the opposite of Carl Larsson, dark and technical. 

Off course a visit to the Dala horse fabric Grannas is a must when you are in Dalarna. And they have a shop where you can by Dala horses in different colores and sizes. I bought a couple for gifts to friends and family. 


We also visit this faboulese studio where they mead hand printed fabrics, Jobs Handtryck is the name. So nice to see real handcraft in the making. The last pictures is of the view from the hotel that we staid in, Hotel Green, fantastic atmopsphere!

HF program - Stockholm

In the past to weeks I have bean participated in a Home Furnishing Program with colleagues from all over the IKEA world. And it has bean amazing!! We started the program in the heart of IKEA, Älmhult. And after some days there we tok the morning train to Stockholm. First in row was a visit to Skansen founded in 1891 by Artur Hazelius. Different traditional buildings and farmsteads from all over Sweden. 

Next stop in Stockholm, Millesgården. First this place was the home and studio for the artist couple Carl Milles and his wife Olga Milles. During the years they expanded the property, and in 1936 this fantastic place was donated to the Swedish people. 

The perfect hotel in Berlin-Michelberger

I had a very nice time in Berlin with my good colleagues. We stayed at the hotel Michelberger. Comfortable rooms, a lovely backyard, perfect for a glass of wine or dinner, super staff and a nice breakfast. I will definitely go back!

Shanghai Surprize

I´ve been away fore 2,5 weeks in Shanghai, working. Shanghai is a fantastic city. With a mix of old art deco buildings and new skyscraper. A magic nightlife and great shopping. My favorite is antic street on Dongtai Lu. Did some good bargain there.

Weekend in Stockholm

In two weeks me and my friend are going to Stockholm fore the weekend. Its going to be so fun, shopping and party. I´ve maid a little wish shoppinglist. The ring and the dress is from Topshop, the metal wire house is from BoConcept and the shoes and the bag is from Urbanoutfitters. 

Milano 2010

I had a wonderful easter holiday on the mountain with my family. And when arriving home in Oslo, the snow has melted and spring has arrived. On friday am leaving for Milano. A weekend with inspiration, trends, good friends and food. And home I´m taking with me hundreds of brand new pictures to show you her on my blog. Photo : Me.

Beautiful Koh Lanta

2 weeks before christmas me and my friend Louise went on a dream vacation to Thailand. Our main destination was Koh Lanta. A big island near Krabi at the mainland. A very chill and laid back island. Our main goals was, relaxing, sunbading and swim in the clear blue water. But we did some other stuff as well. Thai cooking classes on Time for Lime. It´s a dream if you like thai food, we learned all the secret of thai cooking, yum yum. And we did a test dive in the sea with Kon-tiki Diving & Snorkeling, amazing. I´m doing that again! After twelv days in the sun, we headed for Bangkok.

Bangkok is every girls shopping dreams. We stayed near all the big shopping centers at Siam square in a cool design hotel called Siam@Siam. I was looking for christmas gifts, but I bought a few things to my self as well. I bought 2 cute KOKESHI dolls. KOKESHI dolls is a traditional folk-crafts from Japan. And a Fuju instax mini 7S polaroid camera, it´s so fun to take pictures now when they pops out in a second.
