I´ve bean a terrible blogger lately. Sold my apartment in Oslo and so much to do at work. I am in the team that works with the IKEA catalog for 2013. So it is really hectic. But I glad to see that the PR february news kit that we shoot before christmas is out.Cool to se them at the blog Trendenser! Tomorrow I´m going down to Malmö to look at apartments, exciting. This new series is called KVISSLE, KUPOL and EMMIE, in stores in february.

HF program - Dalarna

After Stockholm it was time to drive up north, to Dalarna. Our first stop was Carl Larssons house Sundborn. He is a famous painter. I clarly remember Carl Larssons drawings of his home in a book I had when I was a little girl. It was so nice to see it live. Every room was so bright and light. Here we were not aloud to take pictures unfortantly, so the picture that i show is from the webside.

We also had a guided tour at Andres Zorn place, Zorngården. He is also a famous painter and a friend of Carl Larsson. His house is the opposite of Carl Larsson, dark and technical.

Off course a visit to the Dala horse fabric Grannas is a must when you are in Dalarna. And they have a shop where you can by Dala horses in different colores and sizes. I bought a couple for gifts to friends and family.

We also visit this faboulese studio where they mead hand printed fabrics, Jobs Handtryck is the name. So nice to see real handcraft in the making. The last pictures is of the view from the hotel that we staid in, Hotel Green, fantastic atmopsphere!

HF program - Stockholm

In the past to weeks I have bean participated in a Home Furnishing Program with colleagues from all over the IKEA world. And it has bean amazing!! We started the program in the heart of IKEA, Älmhult. And after some days there we tok the morning train to Stockholm. First in row was a visit to Skansen founded in 1891 by Artur Hazelius. Different traditional buildings and farmsteads from all over Sweden.

Next stop in Stockholm, Millesgården. First this place was the home and studio for the artist couple Carl Milles and his wife Olga Milles. During the years they expanded the property, and in 1936 this fantastic place was donated to the Swedish people.

I had a very nice time in Berlin with my good colleagues. We stayed at the hotel Michelberger. Comfortable rooms, a lovely backyard, perfect for a glass of wine or dinner, super staff and a nice breakfast. I will definitely go back!

This new textile collection is a collaboration between IKEA and the talented students of Beckmans College of Design. Textile product developer Emma Jones join the student for a creative workshop. This turned into meter fabrics and other textiles. The handsome man on the jacket pictures is the multi talented graphic designer in the PR team, Vouge next Petter? :-)

Today I visited Designer Saturday together with some friends in Lammhult. First we listened to a presentation by Ernst Kirchsteiger, a famous interior and food TV personality. After that we looked around at Norrgavel and Lammhults, two furniture design companys. And finished a super day at the furniture store Svenssons i Lammhult, with a type of special cheesecake from Småland in their cafe. And I bought a Componibili from Kartell, finally :-)

This weekend I´m just going to relax here in my hotelrom in Älmhult. Last weekend me and my friend had a fantastic day of shopping in Copenhagen. Its such a great city, the danish people is so relaxed an friendly. I wanted to by clothes, but of course I ended up going crazy in different interior stores. The tea box, owl magnets, salad servers, yellow cord, glass bowl and the white bird figure is from Notre Dam. A great store with a lot of different interior stuff not far from the shopping street Strøget. The grey M is from Urbanoutfitters and the yellow H is from BoConcept. I hope I can find a good place for them in my apartment back home. Have a great saturday!

I am the luckiest girl in the world! Next sunday am traveling to the IKEA capital of the world, Älmhult in Sweden. There im going to work at icom where IKEA produce all there pictures to the catalog, web an other campaigns. They have a large staff of Art Directors, carpenters, stylist and photographers. And a photo studio that is 8000m², so it cant be bigger then this. IT IS SO EXCITING! So for the next 9 weeks, hopefully, i´v got a lot of interesting things to write about her on the blog. Beautiful Koh Lanta

2 weeks before christmas me and my friend Louise went on a dream vacation to Thailand. Our main destination was Koh Lanta. A big island near Krabi at the mainland. A very chill and laid back island. Our main goals was, relaxing, sunbading and swim in the clear blue water. But we did some other stuff as well. Thai cooking classes on Time for Lime. It´s a dream if you like thai food, we learned all the secret of thai cooking, yum yum. And we did a test dive in the sea with Kon-tiki Diving & Snorkeling, amazing. I´m doing that again! After twelv days in the sun, we headed for Bangkok.

Bangkok is every girls shopping dreams. We stayed near all the big shopping centers at Siam square in a cool design hotel called Siam@Siam. I was looking for christmas gifts, but I bought a few things to my self as well. I bought 2 cute KOKESHI dolls. KOKESHI dolls is a traditional folk-crafts from Japan. And a Fuju instax mini 7S polaroid camera, it´s so fun to take pictures now when they pops out in a second.

I`m back in Oslo, and it feels great. It`s something about citylife in the autumn. A thick scarf, take away latte and a lot of time to blog,he,he. The pictures you can see her was done last summer. North Norway

I noen uker fremover nå jobber jeg i Nord Norge som rekvisitør på en NRK produksjon. Det er en hektisk og spennennde jobb. Naturen her oppe er helt fantastisk, og vi har også vært veldig heldige med været. Så når jeg har fri til søndag har jeg så lyst til å fiske eller gå en tur i fjellet.

For a couple of weeks I`m staying inn North Norway working as a prop master for The Norwegian broadcasting Corporation,NRK. It is a hectic and exciting job. The nature up her on location is wonderful and the weather is smashing. So when I have a day off I will love to fish or go hiking.

Jeg kommer rett fra IKEA presselansering for 2010 katalogen. Temaet for årets lansering er Nytt Liv. "Nordmenn ønsker nye valg som kan forandre livene deres. Dette har vi blitt inspirert av, derfor er Nytt Liv årets tema" sier Camilla Linedmann fra IKEA Norge. (Se første bilde)

Årets trender for 2010 på IKEA måten er : Masse grått med en liten dærsj av blått,rødt og gult. En miks av teksturer og blanke overflater hører også med. Store retro inspirerte lamper. Samt at alle hjem nå må ha en gyngestol.

I `m just back from IKEA Press launch fore the catalogue 2010. The subject of this years press launch was A new Life. "Norwegians wants to take new choices that can change there lifes. We have been inspired by this, therefor A new life is the subject of this years launch" says Camilla Lindemann from IKEA Norway (first pictures).

The new trends for 2010 the IKEA way is : a lot og grey with a litle splas of colour like blue,red and yellow. Also a mix of texture an glossy surfaces. And big retro inspired lamps. And every home needs a rocking chair says IKEA.

Er ikke dette vidunderlig?Det er Helen Musselwhite som står bak disse fantastiske kunstverkene i papir. Klippe og lime alle disse detaljene er litt av et håndverk. Selv har jeg veldig lyst på bilde med de søte uglene i treet. Sendt mail på pris, så da er det bare å håpe at hun sender til Norge.

"Sommer i huset" KK

Denne saken gjorde jeg for en stund siden. En liten interiørsak som heter "Sommer i huset" som er å finne i denne ukas KK nr 25. Oppskriften på papirvindmølle og vimpler fikk jeg på nettsiden Papirgleder. Veldig enkelt å lage. Passer like så bra i barnebursdag som til 40-årslag. Jeg kjøpte papir på Papirgalleriet. Det er å få Nora til å skjønne at jeg ikke har forlatt henne i det jeg går på jobb, jeg kommer faktisk tilbake (Høylytt bjeffing oppstår i det jeg går ut av døren)

Vi har gått sammen på Westerdals Eksponeringsdesign. Og alle i klassen skjønte ganske kjapt at dette er en jente med store talenter innen interiør. Hun vet hva hun vill, og hun får det til, superkvinne :-)

Hvis du kunne få et hus, ferdig innredet, hvor som helst i verden - hvor skulle det vært?

Det måtte blitt Italia. Og en villa rett ved vannet ved Lake Como. Fantastisk atmosfære.
